I’m still on my summer blogging hiatus, but this artifact was too good to pass up.  Seen at local post office this afternoon.

  1. P.S., Caleb on a blogging hiatus is like Kramer not speaking anymore:
“I’m not saying anything more starting….. NOW!”

Good to see your head pop up.

  2. Perry being self-described as a “City ” reminds me of trips out to the desert and Notch Mtn or the Deep Creek range along the Utah -Nevada line when we’d tune into the Delta, Utah radio station and together with the two other tiny towns they would refer to themselves as “the Metroplex” during the weather.

Next time I’m in Gotham, I shall see if I can purloin one of their Doggie Doo Bag dispensers from the Park and send it to the good folks of Perry., If there can be a town named Manhattan in Kansas , Perry can have a Manhattan Doggie doo bag dispenser from Manhattan.

Then again, in Yelapa Mexico, on a mountainside on the Pacific where there aint no way to get there by car….and the primary means of transport is Panga, mule or donkey, they have a juvenile team of street cleaners who travel the crooked byways of the village @ 3pm every day with broom and bucket. This is a good use of teenagers if you ask me.
