  1. I’d like nothing better than a return visit to Notre Dame. Alas, no lecture plans in the offing at the moment. Still, I hope to be back in the Fall, at least in the capacity as an attendant of the conference sponsored by the Center for Ethics and Culture. And, to bring my son to a Notre Dame football game some time in the Fall, for which I’ve been generously offered two seats.

    I did notice that the nation’s leading PoMoCon, Peter Augustine Lawler, will be lecturing at Notre Dame in coming days. A Lawler lecture is not to be missed.
