Elizabeth Newman

Elizabeth Newman currently serves as adjunct professor of theology at Duke Divinity School and teaches in The Baptist House of Studies, Union Presbyterian Seminary, Richmond, Virginia. Among her books are Divine Abundance: Leisure, the Basis of Academic Culture (2018) and Living the Liturgy, Enlarging the Baptist Vision (2024). She is Co-Chair of the Baptist-Catholic International Dialogue (Phase III) and was the Baptist World Alliance Fraternal Delegate to the Catholic Synod on Synodality.
