Musa Bersunkaev grew up in Grozny, Chechen Republic, in the Caucasus mountains. He works as a landscape architect in Germany, and writes about North Caucasus, which, in his opinion, has not yet been completely taken over by modernity. In his spare time, he plays football, practices jiu-jitsu and goes on hikes.
