Today is the 100th birthday of the fine State of Arizona, which almost entered the Union as “Arizona the Great.” (h/t: Jeremy Beer) For all those who have not had the opportunity to enjoy this special polity, I wish you God’s Speed in doing so. My name is Peter Haworth, and I am an independent scholar living in Phoenix, Arizona.
