Bradley J. Birzer is the Russell Amos Kirk Chair in History at Hillsdale College.
He is the author of several books, including In Defense of Andrew Jackson, Russell
Kirk: American Conservative, and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Sanctifying Myth: Understanding
Middle-Earth.
