Stephen J. Schuler is professor of English and chair of the department of English, Literature, and Modern Languages at Cedarville University. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Baylor University. He is also an avid, amateur woodworker, specializing in joinery and wood-shaping using traditional hand tools. He lives in Ohio with his wife, Grace, and their children.
