Peter Ramey is Associate Professor of English at Northern State University, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he teaches courses on medieval literature and linguistics. His research focuses on Old English poetry, and he has published articles in Modern Philology, Philological Quarterly, Review of English Studies, and other journals. He is currently completing The Wordhoard Beowulf, a translation and commentary that provides insight into the unique vocabulary of the Old English epic.
