John Tamming

John was born in Strathroy, Ontario. He grew up surrounded by Dutch immigrant dairy farmers, shopkeepers and factory workers. During one summer, he framed turkey barns for $2.65 per hour and unsuccessfully attempted to stage a strike for more. He has never forgotten his blue collar days and has a passion for the underdog.
