Max Heine wrote and edited for newspapers and, later, Overdrive magazine, which serves owner-operator truck drivers. He’s written, edited and ghosted books for the Christian market, and his writing has appeared in Image, Radix, storySouth and Christianity & Literature. Since retiring as Overdrive editor in 2021, he’s been occupied with photography, writing, playing in bands and spending time with family. He and his wife live in Atlanta, as do three of their four sons.
