Bill Lueders is a veteran Wisconsin writer and editor, having worked for the Madison weekly paper Isthmus, the nonprofit Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, and at The Progressive magazine, where he served as editor from July 2017 until May 2022. He has written three books: An Enemy of the State: The Life of Erwin Knoll, Cry Rape: The True Story of One Woman’s Harrowing Quest for Justice and Watchdog: 25 Years of Muckraking and Rabblerousing. He lives on Madison’s north side.
