John-Paul Heil is a Ph.D candidate in early modern history at the University of Chicago and an adjunct professor of history at Mount St. Mary's University. His dissertation focuses on the intellectual history of virtue in the Aragonese court of Renaissance Naples. He is a Fulbright fellow to Italy for the 2021-22 academic year.
